Nepal is a landlocked and mountainous country. Air services in nepal importantly contribute to the enhancment of the country. air service play the prime role to promote the field in tourism in nepal. Development of the country is also based on air facilities. The first airlines in nepal is RNAC which stands for Royal Nepal Airlines Corporations. it was established on july 1958. since then it has been providing air service regularly. nowdays there are many other privet airlines working in nepal. They were established after the restoration of multiparty democracy in 2046 BS. all the airlines are providing air facilities.
